Everyone knows Lynchburg was named after John Lynch, but few know that John worked for Jack at the still. One day, John and Jack got into an argument and John moved to New York and competed with Jack to get back at him. Using the Old No. 7 recipe, he bottled his liquor in small blue bottles. Jack used large square bottles and John Lynch eventually had to shut down due to lack of sales. Jack has remained in business until this day due to John Lynch shutting down.
Further research has proven that this bottle is in fact a soda bottle. But the above would make a great story at the Wyooter Hooter!
